Rahul Tour & Travels is an India based company.
When I, Subhash C. Rana, was a boy of 14 years I came to New Delhi, looking for a job. After several years of cleaning cars and learning all about tourism and the English language, I was happy to find a job as driver of a tourist-taxi … This was the base for my own company: Rahul Tour & Travels.
 We organise your individual tour in North India but also in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Orissa etc., as we work closely with our colleagues throughout the country and in Kathmandu Nepal and Thimpu Bhutan.
Since 2000 we work together with BETje individual tours, based in the Netherlands and from 2009 also with TukTuk Travel, based in Italy.

We have our own car fleet, consisting of small economy cars, SUV, luxery cars and mini-vans, suitable for individual travelling groups of 1 person upto 12. For bigger groups we can organise a mini- or normal coach. See also: India info - transport
Our drivers speak well English and, what is of great importance, know all about Northern-India! They can tell you about our people, our religions, our festivals etc. etc. However, they are no official guides of course, these we can hire for you where ever you like to have one.
For Italian, French, German or Spanish travellers we can organise a guide who speaks their native language.

BETje individual tours
Since 1981 Lies Pijnenburg, founder and owner of BETje individual tours, has worked within European tourism. After some private tours in our India however, she specialised in 1999 as a touroperator for individual tours to our country, combined with our neighbours Nepal and Bhutan.
We know Lies since 2000, as a very decicated person, who travelled (and still does) extensively in India and compiles all tours herself. This is “because Indian people think too much that western tourists only like the highlights …”
That’s why you find in the tours of BETje individual tours so many places and things of which we think it’s normal, but to Europeans it’s hughly interesting.

TukTuk travel
The founder and owner of TukTuk Travel, Bregje Pijnenburg, is related to Lies Pijnenburg, owner of BETje individual tours.
Bregje worked, after graduation in Tourism, several years in the Middle-East as a tour-manager and hostess. In the meantime she was also a little bit infected with the “India-virus” and gave a helping hand to BETje and her tours.
Since 2002 she is living in Italy, where she founded TukTuk Travel and is fully committed to our aim: introduce and show our India, Nepal and Bhutan to all who are interested in this part of Asia.

Our tours
Nepal and Bhutan, as neighboring countries of India, can easily be visited with an India tour and have, although small and close to each other, each their identity and different possibilities.
During our own “discovery” tours we are always looking for the authenticity of a region. This especially we like you also to experience and see during the tour, together of course with all major and minor highlights!
In our tours we use as much as possible local companies and hotels (most of them we visited ourselves), of local owners and with, where possible, local staff.
This is our humble way to support the development and the people of our fascinating India, Nepal and Bhutan.
